1. Have Your Boiler Serviced Regularly

2. Keep an Eye on Boiler Pressure
Check the pressure shown on your boiler from time to time. The correct operating pressure can vary between boilers and heating systems, so follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your particular appliance.
If the pressure repeatedly drops after being topped up, don’t keep topping it up indefinitely. Repeated pressure loss may indicate an underlying problem that needs investigating.
3. Pay Attention to Your Radiators
If a radiator isn’t heating properly, the way it feels can provide useful information about what may be happening within the heating system.
