Boiler Installation Nottingham
Professional Boiler Replacement From a Local Gas Safe Engineer
If your old boiler is becoming unreliable, expensive to repair or simply reaching the end of its useful life, I can help you choose and install a suitable replacement.
I’m Mark from Nottingham Plumbing & Heating Services, and you’ll deal directly with me from discussing your new boiler through to the installation.
Choosing the Right New Boiler
A new boiler should be chosen for your home and how you actually use your heating and hot water. Bigger isn’t automatically better, and I don’t believe in recommending a boiler simply because it is the most expensive option.
Your Home
I’ll consider the size of your property and the existing heating system before recommending a replacement.
Hot Water Needs
The number of bathrooms and how your household uses hot water can affect which boiler is suitable.
Your Budget
I’ll discuss sensible options so you can choose a boiler that suits both your property and your budget.
Do You Really Need a New Boiler?
Not every boiler fault means you need a replacement. If your existing boiler can be repaired economically and keeping it makes sense, I will tell you.
However, if repairs are becoming frequent, parts are difficult to obtain or the boiler is becoming increasingly unreliable, replacing it may be worth considering.
If you’re unsure, call me. I can discuss the situation with you without automatically trying to sell you a new boiler.

I’ll look at your existing system and discuss what you need from your heating and hot water.
2. Choose Your Boiler
I’ll explain the suitable options so you understand what you’re buying and why it is suitable for your home.
3. Installation
Your new boiler is installed and the system is checked before I explain the controls and operation to you.
Combi, System or Regular Boiler?
Combi Boilers
A combi boiler provides heating and hot water without requiring a separate hot-water cylinder. It can be a good option for many homes, but it isn’t automatically right for every property.
System Boilers
A system boiler works with a hot-water cylinder and can be suitable for homes where stored hot water is useful.
Regular Boilers
Some existing heating systems use a regular boiler with separate system components. In some homes, retaining this type of arrangement may be appropriate.
Not sure which type you need? See my Which Boiler Is Right for Me? guide.
