If a visit is needed, I will investigate the problem and explain the repair options to you.
Is It the Boiler or the Heating System?
It isn’t always obvious. A boiler can appear to be working normally while a problem elsewhere prevents the heat from reaching one or more radiators.
Likewise, if none of your radiators are heating, the problem may be with the boiler, controls or another part of the system. I’ll investigate the symptoms rather than guessing which component needs replacing.

Why is one radiator cold while the others are hot?
There are several possible causes, including air, a valve problem or a circulation issue. I can investigate the cause rather than simply replacing parts unnecessarily.
Can you replace an old radiator?
Yes. I can replace radiators where required and discuss suitable options for the room and existing heating system.
Why is my radiator leaking?
The leak may be from a valve, connection, pipework or the radiator itself. The source needs to be identified before deciding on the correct repair.
Can I call if I’m not sure whether the boiler is faulty?
Yes. Tell me what is happening and I will ask a few questions to help work out whether the problem is likely to be the boiler or another part of the heating system.
